Tokai – Just days before lockdown we got SA Downhill Champ Theo Erlangsen tearing down a One Run in Tokai.

Check out the mad clip – https://youtu.be/9SCBRkhv2yI

If this doesn’t get you stoked to ride your bike once the lockdown is over, we don’t know what will!

Let’s hear what the champ has to say about life in lockdown.

Hey Theo. Hope it’s all going well. Can you tell us, where are you locked down?

I’m lucky enough to be locked down at Hellsend Dirt Compound, very stoked!

That’s a win. Obviously, you can you ride in your current setup?

Yeah. I’ve been riding every day in the compound. It’s literally just a big garden. It has been really productive and fun!

That’s a very cool way to keep your social distancing. What are you doing to bide the time? Any good books, video clips? What can you recommend?

I’m always doing stuff here, but if I was totally locked in, I’d probably just start a series and binge watch stuff!

What are your goals for after the lockdown?

After lockdown, and when I get a better idea of when the races are going to happen, I’ll get stuck back into some serious training, in the hopes, there are some races!

Has the lockdown done anything for you with regards to your goals, your motivation, etc.?

Ya, I didn’t train hard enough pre-season, so I’m actually not too upset it’s delayed a bit. It has given me a second chance at some training! Hopefully, now I’ll get it right!
