Fitness Enthusiasts Urged to enter Green Trail Run

EThekwini Municipality is inviting all nature and fitness enthusiasts to register for the Green Trail Run that will be hosted by Green Hub on Saturday, 31 October 2015.

The City has committed to plant a tree for every online entry received. Two races will be held. These are a 5 kilometre run for beginners, children and walkers, and a 10 kilometre run for those who enjoy more of a challenge. Registration costs R60 for the 5 kilometre run and R85 for the 10 kilometre challenge. Registration on the day of the race is permitted, however be prepared to pay R10 more per entry. Participants are also requested to wear green on the day to show their support for nature and a greener Durban.

The route starts and ends at the Green Hub at the Blue Lagoon.
