Amanzimtoti police are looking for a 30-year-old man who can assist them in a murder case in which a woman died of her injuries after a hand grenade was thrown at her.
According to police‚ the incident occurred at about 1:45 on Sunday morning at Karridene Road in Amanzimtoti.
“It is alleged that…the suspect was at home with his wife‚ 33‚ when they had an argument‚” a police statement said.
“The suspect threw two hand grenades towards the victim and one exploded‚ injuring the victim; she was taken to a local hospital where she later died.”
