EThekwini Municipality Mayor, Councillor Cyril Xaba today led a service delivery intervention in Wentworth, Austerville, Merebank, Merewent and Lamontville, focusing on addressing water leaks and sewer spillages.
The intervention, which was initially launched in KwaMashu and subsequently extended to Phoenix, is aimed at addressing urgent water and sanitation challenges, improving infrastructure reliability, and enhancing service delivery to residents.
The Mayor will conduct an oversight visit to assess ongoing repairs and engage with municipal technical teams on interventions being implemented in the affected areas.
