Wandile Mjekevu On Loan to the Kings:
Durban, 25th May 2016: With injuries having severely affected the Southern Kings depth for the remainder of their 2016 Super Rugby campaign, the Southern Kings COO, Charl Crous, has requested the services of Cell C Sharks utility back, Wandile Mjekevu, to add much needed strength to his squad ahead of their fixture this weekend.
The Sharks Director of Rugby, Gary Gold said: “Wandile has just returned from injury and we have heeded the call from the Kings who are in need of his services for their remaining four fixtures. This stint for the Kings will provide him with a good opportunity to get some Super Rugby game time under his belt, before he returns to Durban for the Cell C Sharks Currie Cup campaign.”
