The Secrets of Ancient China at Gateway: Ever wondered what China was like 2200 years ago? Wonder no more – The Terracotta Army and the First Emperor of China Exhibition has just opened at Gateway, giving a life-like glimpse into the extraordinary voyage of Ancient China 2200 years ago, showcasing a magnificent collection of the Terracotta Army, the necropolis and life of the First Emperor, including reproductions of statues, chariots, weapons and objects from the daily life of the First Emperor of China. Kids and adults alike can discover the secrets of ancient China and marvel at meticulously reproduced works, which will be on show at Gateway until 29th May 2016. Director of Expo RSA, Nick Dreyer says: “The works have all been reproduced by Chinese craftsmen from the excavation region, with a particular consideration for details in order to maintain the beauty and originality of the originals.
