Speed Networking What’s It All About? – Featured Durban Blog

18 May 2017 by My Durban

Speed Networking What’s It All About?:

So what is speed networking all about?  This week Indaba has Speed Networking sessions for various tourism organisations from hotels to accommodation resorts to lodges to B&Bs to unique attractions like The Midlands Meander or even Maboneng Precinct.

Here you will also find Tours like the Street Scene Tours, Table Mountain Cableway, The Drakensberg Experience.
The Speed Networking events have been tailored for each day, yesterday they had ‘Lap of Luxury.’
Today was ‘Scenic Beauty,’ and tomorrow will be ‘Award Winning SA Products.’
So why even have these events?  Well SA Tourism has designed them to invite buyers to come and hear about these experiences.
Each person on stage has 2 to 3 minutes before anything from a buzzer to the sound of a camera clicking buzzes them out.
The aim is to get buyers to interact and network with these hidden gems and hopefully sign big tourism deals.
The next speed networking event is 18 May at 8h30am.
The people giving their pitches from the stage were reminded to give their stand numbers so that buyers know where to find them.
Find it at Indaba, Durban, South Africa.
The largest travel and trade show in Africa.
