The fog signal from Roche’s Point Lighthouse. This ELG 300/04 fog signal replaced the old diaphone in 1995 when the lighthouse was automated. It had a range of 4 nautical miles. The Commissioners of Irish Lights, despite opposition, discontinued this fog signal on January 11th 2011.
