The Mayor of eThekwini, Councillor James Nxumalo said today that he was very pleased to note that there are teams on the ground collecting refuse in some of the 14 Wards in Umlazi that were affected by the non-collection recently.
“The Municipality has worked around the clock to resolve the situation and is engaging with all affected stakeholders to ensure that residents are not further inconvenienced,” said Nxumalo
“We assure all residents that this situation is receiving attention and thank the involved parties for their co-operation,” concluded Mayor James Nxumalo.
