Businesses are feeling the power crunch as a result of the recent electricity supply disruptions due to load shedding, but there are many mechanisms available to alleviate the pressure.
EThekwini Municipality will be hosting an energy efficiency workshop for the business sector as part of the Private Sector Energy Efficiency (PSEE) programme. The programme aims to improve energy efficiency in commercial and industrial companies in South Africa through the provision of free energy audits, energy training and other services to assist companies in identifying and implementing energy saving measures.
The workshop aims to provide feedback from companies who are already a part of the PSEE programme and information about the finance mechanisms available for energy efficiency interventions.
The Private Sector Energy Efficiency Workshop 20i5 will take place on 28th January 2015 at the Botanic Gardens Conference Centre, Durban from 08h30-14h00.
