The Cell C Sharks extend an open invitation to all our fans to join us at Growthpoint KINGS PARK on Saturday 19 November, between 11.30am and 1.30pm, to enjoy a mid-morning of interaction with your favourite team, the Cell C Sharks.
This is an opportunity for us to say a big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has supported us through our Super Rugby and Currie Cup campaigns this year. For those who were there on match days, come rain or shine, or those who supported from afar but were still behind us every game and who will be in Durban over that weekend.
Get to meet our new signings and interact with familiar old faces who will be representing you in the black and white jersey with pride next year (and beyond), and to pose for photos, get autographs and for the kids to just have fun.
For the players themselves, this is all about our community and they enjoy this chance to show their appreciation for what your support means to them.
So bring along your picnic baskets and camp chairs to soak in the atmosphere and join in the activities with the players.
Former Sharks and Springbok captain and now CEO of The Sharks (Pty) Ltd, Gary Teichmann, will address fans on the union’s vision for the future and how our fans form a large part in the team quest for success.
There will be free boerewors rolls (for the first 1000 people) with a beer garden, music , kids’ touch rugby and slides, as well as a signing session.
It’s our way of saying thanks to everyone who has been such a big part of Our Team this year!
