The Kznru Pays Tribute To The Late Hansie Pieterse:

Francois Louis, the President of the KwaZulu-Natal Rugby Union, was saddened to hear of the recent passing of Hansie Pieterse, who played centre for Natal and the Natal B side in the 1980’s.

Hansie played rugby, coached and served as an administrator with the Pietermaritzburg Police Rugby Club and the Midlands Rugby Sub-Union from 1976 until the mid-nineties.

Hansie was a loyal club man, family man, gentleman and a great rugby man who will be long remembered for his honesty and love of the game. Our condolences are extended to his family and friends.
