New XtraSpace Branch Opens in Durban

18 December 2015 by Alan

Kwazulu-Natal on MyPR:

XtraSpace recently opened a new branch on 41 Khuzimphi Shezi Road in Durban, offering affordable office space and self-storage facilities minutes from Durban’s CBD and harbour.

The office spaces at the new Khuzimphi Shezi Road branch and in XtraSpace’s existing Durban North branch are branded “Flexi Offices”. This is in keeping with a unique approach. Flexi Offices are designed to meet the needs of small South African businesses and entrepreneurs better than traditional office rental agreements.

SHORT-TERM LEASES REDUCE RISKS FOR START-UPS

Securing office space in a prime location like central Durban typically means having to sign a long lease.

The problem for many start-up businesses and entrepreneurs is that they can’t know what their future needs will be. Especially for new businesses, it’s hard to predict how business circumstances might change within the coming months, much less the next few years.

Changing fortunes could mean that business owners have to continue paying for space they no longer need, or that they’ll be locked into renting office space that has become too small for their companies.

At XtraSpace’s new Khuzimphi Shezi Road Durban branch, tenants can rent office space on lease terms as short as one month. This means that businesses can adapt quickly and easily, moving into larger or smaller premises if their needs change.

ONSITE BUSINESS SERVICES MEAN MINIMAL STARTUP COSTS

For small businesses and entrepreneurs, XtraSpace’s Flexi Offices, including the brand new ones at the Khuzimphi Shezi Road branch, have another important advantage. Tenants can move in and start business straight away, avoiding many of the costs normally associated with setting up an office.

The Khuzimphi Shezi Road branch includes offices that are fully furnished, ranging in size from spaces suitable for one person to offices large enough for teams. It also includes professional meeting rooms, where tenants can hold meetings with clients or business partners, and a modern reception area.

Like XtraSpace’s other branches, the new Durban branch offers a range of professional business services, including printing and on-site courier services.

Just across the road from the Khuzimphi Shezi Road Flexi Offices is an XtraSpace self-storage facility, offering secure storage units in a range of sizes.

The new Khuzimphi Shezi Road branch is located near the Durban University of Technology. It provides easy access to the N3 and to public transport, as well as to central Durban.
