
Hill joined Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa in 1991 as a Graduate Trainee in the Marketing and Sales Department, and went on to hold a variety of positions at Ford over the ensuing 15 years, including Advertising Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Manager.
In 2006, he was transferred to Ford’s Asia, Pacific and Africa (APA) regional office in Bangkok, Thailand as the Regional Launch Manager for all passenger cars. During that time his key responsibility was the co-ordination of the Fiesta launch for the APA region. Three years later he was appointed as the APA Cross Carline Brand Manager when the regional office relocated to Shanghai, China.
A two-year stint followed in 2011 as Managing Director of Ford Motor Company of New Zealand, reporting to the office of President and MD of Ford Australia.
In 2013, Hill assumed the role of General Manager – Sales at Ford Motor Company in Australia, and was responsible for dealer sales, as well as the fleet and government sales operations.

Hill was born in Durban, South Africa and educated at Westville Boy’s High School and the University of Natal. He is married to Wendy, who also hails from Durban.
