For the last 10 years MyPR’s focus has been on South Africa and Africa.
MyPR has exclusively offered free (and paid for) exposure for press releases, product announcements and events taking place in South Africa and Africa.
Now we realise that by doing so we have excluded many businesses from around the world – not to mention the possibility for MyPR to make a few rands from paid for releases from a much wider audience.
Our mission was always to make South Afric and Africa stand out just that tad more than our cousins North, West and East of us and to that we will always remain true.
At the beginning of April we said to ourselves; “Self, you are no April Fool so just get on with it and create two separate spaces for ALL the world to submit their Press and Video Releases to MyPR!”
So, we did just that.
Introducing MyPR International and MyPR Video Releases…
We will stay true to our stated intention of giving everyone a hand up and not a hand out so our offering from both sites is one where the submitter can choose a FREE or FULL HOUSE submission.
In this case, though, FREE is PLAIN TEXT only – no images and no links and FULL HOUSE is Rich text, a link to more information, 2 images and Social Media promotion. We still love South Africa far too much so give a little bit more to our mates!
Our performance on MyPR International and MyPR Video so far has not been too shabby.
The Most Read/Viewed press releases on the two new sections over the last 5 days are below. They have not benefited from any Social Media or other promotion OTHER than organic traffic from the main MyPR site and from Search Engines.
