Load Shedding Alert – Stage 2 for 26 February 2015

The Municipality has been advised by Eskom to implement Stage 2 load shedding as of 10h00 today, 26 February.

Customers are urged to reduce their consumption in order to reduce the severity of load shedding.

Commercial customers, particularly shopping centres and office blocks are urged to switch off non-essential lights and not to leave office equipment such as photocopiers and computers on standby mode after hours.

In the event of rotational load shedding, please switch off all appliances to prevent overload tripping when the power does return.
