KwaZulu-Natal’s third standalone Petshop Science store has just launched at the South Coast Mall in Shelley Beach. The other two stores opened in Pietermaritzburg and Pinetown last year.
Checkers is the first South African supermarket to open specialist pet shops which feature everything pet owners could want or need.
“We saw a gap in the market when it came to pet care and following the great customer response to Petshop Science, we’ve been hard at work rolling out more specialist pet shops. Our aim has always been to bring customers everything their four-legged companions could want and need – at supermarket prices,” said Willem Hunlun, COO of Checkers.
The store is managed by Robyn De Wit, who has over 120 pet courses under her name. Customers can expect individual attention and expert advice for their pet companions.
Petshop Science Shelley Beach’s trading hours are Mondays to Sundays from 08:00 until 18:00.
