The IFP has asked the MEC of Safety and Security in KwaZulu-Natal, Willie Mchunu to appoint a task team to investigate the death of Miss Thulisile Ndlovu of KwaNdengezi, Durban, who was shot and killed at her home.
This call follows a visit by the IFP eThekwini leadership, led by Mr Joshua Mazibuko, the IFP Deputy National Spokesperson, MPL, and Mr Mdu Nkosi, IFP eThekwini Exco Member to the Ndlovu household.
“The IFP would like to express our deepest condolences to the Ndlovu family. We are sadden by the cold-blooded murder of Miss Ndlovu. We are also concerned that no arrests have been made,” said Mr Mazibuko.
“Considering reports from her family the possibility of political motivation cannot be ruled out. The IFP therefore the calls on MEC Mchunu to intervene by urgently appointing a special task team to investigate Miss Ndlovu’s death,” Mr Mazibuko concluded.
