Kyocera Document Solutions (KDS) South Africa commenced their third year as associate sponsor of The Sharks rugby team in January 2016.

“Kyocera will be continuing our #wegotyourbacks campaign with the appropriately-positioned Kyocera logo on the back of the new Sharks rugby jerseys,” says Michelle Wood, marketing communications manager at KDS South Africa. “With The Sharks rugby team undergoing many new changes including a new Sharks kit, new coaching staff and new players, we look forward to seeing a renewal of energies on the field.” Visit the the wegotyourbacks website to learn more about the campaign.

On 03 December 2015, The Sharks unveiled their culturally-inspired home and away kit for 2016. The design is inspired by the five pillars of The Sharks brand: innovation, courage, passion, unity and perseverance; representing the rich culture and history of their hometown, KwaZulu-Natal. Alongside the launch of next year’s kit, The Sharks have announced who their new attack coach will be, Robert du Preez, as well as new players into the mix – with all of this change, Kyocera looks forward to a rejuvenated focus on the field.

“We are delighted to renew our association with Kyocera and we look forward to many more exciting years ahead. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kyocera for their investment in and support of The Sharks brand,” added John Smit, CEO of The Sharks.

“As a world-leader in managed document solutions, Kyocera is also the preferred Managed Document Solutions provider to The Sharks’ support team – showing that our support goes beyond the field and into the office,” concludes Wood.
