KwaZulu-Natal Support Services Directory Released

25 July 2014 by Alan

The KwaZulu-Natal info4africa Series 7 support services directory for 2014 is now available.

This invaluable resource contains detailed information on over 2300 organisations in the KwaZulu-Natal province involved in health, wellbeing and development service provision.

Vulnerable people or families often need support in a number of areas. Our referral directory can help you solve this problem as it contains details of organisations providing services and support to vulnerable groups in all areas of the province.

The info4africa provincial directory is designed to assist support service providers in the valuable work that they do with vulnerable groups. Service providers can use this directory to:

  • connect with service organisations in any area of the province
  • refer clients to organisations for additional support and assistance

The info4africa KwaZulu-Natal Series 7 Support Services Directory forms part of the info4africa national database. This national referral tool can also be accessed in a number of ways. Visit our website for more information.

info4africa is a national data collection agency, specialising in the fields of health, wellbeing and development. As a self-funded Centre of the School of Applied Human Sciences, College of Humanities, University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), info4africa was formerly known at the Centre for HIV/AIDS Networking (HIVAN), which was established in 2001.

info4africa has a long history of working in the field of HIV, AIDS and TB. Our focus has expanded and matured over the past decade such that our database, wider networking and capacity building activities broadly reflect service provision in health, wellbeing and development in South Africa.

info4africa’s defining strength is our ability to collate, maintain and quality assure data. We are currently engaged in data collection projects for a variety of local, national and international agencies. We believe in collating and sharing information for public good.

In addition to data collection and directory production, we facilitate free networking and capacity building forums for the faith-based, social welfare, non-government and wider practitioner community in KwaZulu-Natal.

For more information on the KwaZulu-Natal Series 7 Support Services Database and Directory or information on how to best use the directory or our networking forums to support your work, please contact us, by emailing media@info4africa.org.za.

“This directory of HIV-related services in KwaZulu-Natal is partially made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the President’s Emergency Plan. The contents are the responsibility of info4africa (through a sub-agreement with the Foundation for Professional Development) and does not necessarily reflect the views of USAID or the United States Government”.
