Kemach Equipment join forces with KZN Cricket – Featured Durban Blog

9 December 2019 by My Durban

Kemach Equipment join forces with KZN Cricket:

Durban – KwaZulu-Natal Cricket and Kemach Equipment have joined forces in a deal that will see the earthmoving solutions dealers supply Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium with a new pitch roller ahead of a busy period of international cricket at the ground in the New Year.

The KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union are excited by the deal which grows Kemach’s footprint in the KZN cricket landscape as they have already supplied equipment to both the Chatsworth Hub and the Illembe Hub in the past.

The deal will run until 31 October 2022 with the option of renewing.

CEO of KZN Cricket Heinrich Strydom is excited by the prospect of creating a long-lasting relationship with Kemach.

“The partnership with Kemach will assist us in our vision to create a world class cricketing environment at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead, as well as to provide better playing and practice facilities at our hubs and clubs. Kemach is a well-respected brand and we look forward to this partnership.”

Head of National Sales Support and Marketing for Kemach Mark Senyard is excited that the company can continue their growth into the cricketing market.

“We started about three years ago by sponsoring rollers to Hubs and RPC’s around the country,” Senyard said. “We have wanted to do as much as we can to develop the game of cricket in South Africa.

“To date we have sponsored 20 rollers throughout the country and have rollers being used at the Imperial Wanderers, Newlands and now Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium.

“For us this was about brand awareness at the big test playing venues in the country and we are excited to be starting this journey with KZN Cricket.”
