Join the final 5K PUMA NITRO Demo Run #4 this coming Thursday, 07 July 2022 as we prepare to #RunForDurban at one of Durban’s most iconic 10km road races, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K (taking place on Sunday 10 July).

“We invite all runners to join us on Thursday for a fun-filled 5K PUMA NITRO Demo Run as we build up to Sunday’s race,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series. “The Demo Run is the perfect opportunity to ‘warm up’ and build excitement before Sunday. The best part of the Demo Run is that runners get to test Puma’s newest range of PUMA NITRO running shoes. There are also awesomes prizes up for grabs compliments of Puma South Africa. The 5K PUMA NITRO Demo Run is open to runners of all ages and is free of charge. Once your run is completed, be sure to stick around for the lucky draw.”

To be eligible to be entered into the lucky draw on the evening of the 5K PUMA NITRO Demo Run, participants must:
• Complete the 5km run.
• Collect, fill out and hand in a lucky draw ticket.
• Be present at the time that the lucky draw takes place (directly after the run).

Charity Support: When entering the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K online entrants can choose to support five local charities: 1. LIV Village, 2. TREE (Training and Resources in Early Education), 3. Durban & Coast SPCA, 4. iThemba Lethu and
5. Reach For A Dream Foundation (RFAD).

#RunForDurban Campaign: Durban has been hard hit not only by the pandemic, but by riots and now severe flooding. Headline partners, Absa, PUMA, DHL, as well as the event itself have each committed to giving back R1 for every 1km run and/or walked at the 2022 Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K on Sunday 10 July. Just by entering the Durban event, each runner and/or walker will ensure that R40 is donated towards those that have been affected by the floods. The funds raised will be used to purchase non-perishable food items, shoes, clothing and blankets.
WIN a Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Urban at the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K: All runners (and walkers) that enter the 2022 Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K will stand a chance to win a stunning Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Urban vehicle on event day. To be in the running to win the vehicle you must enter the event, collect your race number and be on the start line.
