The Cell C Sharks will take on the Hurricanes in Saturday’s Vodacom Super Rugby quarter-final clash at Westpac Stadium at 9.35am strengthened by the return of three previously injured players.
Willie le Roux, Paul Jordaan and Jean-Luc du Preez have all been included in the run-on XV, having recovered from their respective ailments which have kept them out of action over the past few weeks.
Clearly all three players bolster the side with their individual strengths, notably all three possessing exciting rugby skills against a team that repeated their 2015 efforts of finishing the pool stages at the top of the log.
Although history counts for little on the day, the Cell C Sharks can take confidence out of the fact that they have won six of their last nine games against the Hurricanes and of the 20 meetings in total, the Cell C Sharks lead the head-to-head count with 11 wins, including that special 32-15 victory earlier this season at Growthpoint KINGS PARK.
The match kicks off on Saturday at 09h35 (SA time)
