Johannesburg, August 07 2023 – Imagine a world where transporting goods is as easy as hailing a taxi on your smartphone. Welcome to the reality of Loadit, South Africa’s premier goods transportation service operating in the vibrant cities of Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban.

“We’re here to ensure that moving goods, whether personal or for business, becomes a seamless experience,” says John Greenland – Managing Director . “Our collaborations with small, certified businesses across the cities make this vision a reality.”

Accolades and Achievements – Bakkie Rentals

Having completed thousands of tasks since its inception, Loadit boasts hundreds of glowing reviews on Google, standing testament to the quality and reliability of their services.

FAQ – Loadit

Read all Loadit FAQ here

Does Loadit insure my goods?
Loadit offers compensation for loss or damage of goods to all business customers. Please call our helpline to discuss your specific requirements.

How can I get my driver’s contact details?
You will have access to your driver’s name and phone number on the web app for each specific job that you have created. This will be available to you approximately one hour before the pickup time you requested. If you need your driver’s details before this time, please contact Loadit by email or phone.

What Vehicles do the drivers have?
1 Ton Bakkie
1.5 Ton Bakkie
3 Ton Bakkie
8 Ton Bakkie

What if I need a vehicle that is too big for my complex?
Our shuttle service on the “Discounts & extras” page takes care of your complex not allowing big vehicles in the gate. So order a large vehicle (3 Ton Truck or larger) that will stay outside and order a shuttle vehicle (1.5 Ton Bakkie) that will come in and ferry all your goods to or from the larger vehicle. Problem solved! (Please remember to order two shuttles if this is required on both pickup and delivery.)

Who does the loading, offloading and packing of smalls?
We need you to pack all of your small items into boxes or containers of some kind before your Loadit driver arrives. Also, please ensure that any delicate items are suitably wrapped so they are protected in the moving process.

Your Loadit driver will assist in loading and offloading both your large items as well as your boxed, small items. Need more muscle? No problem! Please book “Additional helpers” on the “Discounts & extras” page. For moving household goods we recommend the following helpers:

  • 1 Ton Bakkie: 1 additional helper if you have stuff that one person cannot carry
  • 1.5 Ton Bakkie: 1 additional helper if you have stuff that one person cannot carry
  • 3 Ton Truck: 1 to 2 additional helpers depending on weight and size of the load
  • 8 Ton Truck: 3 additional helpers
