Four 20-month old hammerhead sharks were moved from the opened air canals to the aquarium inside uShaka Marine World. Nine predators were housed by the Point Canal since March last year where five remain. They were found in the shark nets last year and handed over to the uShaka Marine World. CEO Tony McEwane said the sharks now measure close to a meter which first came in at 30 centimeters. “The sharks had to grow a little before they were put into the tank with other sharks or they would have been eaten,” said McEwane.
