Get more space

9 April 2014 by Alan

Durban – XtraSpace announced today the launch of XtraSpace Flexi-Office – intelligent workspaces which offer small and medium sized businesses, a turnkey business solution, without the commitment to a lengthy lease.

Whilst XtraSpace has had offices attached to its storage facilities for some time, these spaces are now being upgraded to a superb new standard. In addition, standalone facilities are due to open in Durban, Melrose Arch and other key metro areas.

The latest facilities can be seen at XtraSpace Bellville, where Clients can rent standalone lock-up offices that offer companies privacy and confidentiality. A glass encased meeting room also creates a professional impression for Team and Board meetings.

The business services offered, in conjunction with technical partner The IT Company will include:

  • Free uncapped wireless broadband Internet with speeds up to 10MB
  • Off-site backup storage of critical data at a dedicated Data Storage facility in the Wynberg, Sandton facility
  • Computer and server rentals
  • Domain registration, email and website hosting
  • VOIP, PABX Services

David Van Gool of The IT Company, comments that businesses secure in the knowledge that complex IT requirements are available on demand, tend to grow faster, as they can focus on their core business without distraction.

For Clients who need flexible office space and a place to store their inventory, files or equipment, then the combination of offices and storage provides a real TURNKEY solution. XtraSpace also have an in-house courier service, Parceljet so all logistics requirements can be catered for.

XtraSpace opened their first facility in 2007. They are one of the largest national operators in SA now, with over 120,000m/2 of storage space let out to their Customers. XtraSpace continues to grow their property portfolio by being a consolidator in the highly fragmented self-storage industry, by offering affordable, accessible and secure storage space for residential and commercial customers. Flexi-Office by XtraSpace is a logical next step for this fast growing business, which is continuously innovating to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and SME’s.
