This is Captain Jim McCarthy’s Sailing Yacht Double Angel 42 – I met him in Durban during his solo round-the-world trip from San Diego and all the way back again. It was just before the pandemic, and his next stop was Port Elizabeth, as it was known then, and then on to Rio de Janeiro. I trust he made it home before he found himself isolated in some little bay somewhere.
