This pier is at North Beach Durban. There was a strong "Berg" wind blowing which usually happens in August. This wind blows down to the coast from the Drakensburg mountains. The drop in altitude warms the air, sending temperatures soaring. A day later, the low pressure inland then brings colder artic air further north than normal, causing the temperatures to plummet. Hopefully the weather will settle down in October which is normally a wonderful month, weather wise, in Durban.
