Four dynamic businesswomen to share insights in Durban:
Four dynamic women from some of SA’s most driven industries will be sharing their wisdom to an exclusive gathering of women at the FNB Business East Coast Radio Ladies Breakfast in association with GIBS.The annual breakfast meet brings together women from all professions and industries in KZN who hope to take away valuable lessons and key insights from some of the country’s top women achievers.
This year, Chief Marketing Officer of FNB, Bernice Samuels, City Press editor, Ferial Haffejee, Nicola Tyler the CEO of Business Results Group and CEO of SABRIC, Kalyani Pillay will offer advice and share the lessons they’ve learnt while climbing the ladder of success in the banking, media and business industries.
These courageous, determined and passionate women will be speaking around the theme “Empowering Together.” The event takes place at Durban’s ICC on 8 August 2014.

There is Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), a gun-toting raccoon and the diminutive result of ‘experiments on a lower life form’; Groot (Vin Diesel), a tree-like humanoid; Gamora (Zöe Saldana), the enigmatic, cruel-eyed green humanoid assassin who finds herself targeted for past crimes by furious inmates of the Kyln; and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), a tattooed space brute. Peter Quill, aka Star Lord (Chris Pratt), is the only human among them!
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, as brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt. This, after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace), a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe.
To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with the quartet of disparate misfits, the Guardians: Rocket, Groot, Gamora and Drax the Destroyer. However, when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand–with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
Directed by James Gunn, the multi-talented cast also includes Glenn Close, Josh Brolin and Karen Gillan, among others.
