Festive fun and quality crafts in store for Renishaw Hills’ Christmas Market:
The KwaZulu-Natal South Coast is getting an early start on the Christmas cheer with the annual Renishaw Hills Christmas Market, taking place on Saturday, 2 November at 10am at the Renishaw Hills Mackaya Bella Community Centre.
“One of the qualities that makes Renishaw Hills such an appealing mature lifestyle development is the strong sense of community,” said Phil Barker, managing director of Renishaw Property Developments, developers of Renishaw Hills. “The Christmas Market gives visitors a chance to join in the community camaraderie while browsing through one-of-a-kind crafted items and enjoying home-baked goods on our beautiful estate.”
This year’s Renishaw Hills Christmas Market welcomes 19 stallholders showcasing the incredible talents of the local residents. Some of the stalls visitors can look forward to include:

· Artwork by the Upper South Coast Art Association
· Hand-made crafts
· Jewellery
· Quality Christmas Toys
· Second-hand books and collectibles
· Fresh produce
· Home-made preserves
· Christmas cakes and treats
· An assortment of home-baked goods
Children will get the opportunity to have a photograph taken with the man of the season, Father Christmas, and enjoy running around in the expansive lawns. Parents can relax and enjoy a variety of ready-made food and snacks – prego rolls, vetkoek, hot dogs, refreshments and more –in the beautiful indigenous gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean. Rotary will be hosting a well-stocked tea garden at the event, and those looking for some top-quality craft beer can visit the Basett Brewery stand. Local NPO, 4 Paws and a Tale will also have a table at this year’s market so make sure to pop over and support our four-legged friends!
