FATHER’S DAY FEST AT FAIRMONT ZIMBALI RESORT

11 June 2019 by My Durban

FATHER’S DAY FEST AT FAIRMONT ZIMBALI RESORT:

DURBAN, June, 2019 – Calling all foodie fathers! Working on the old adage that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, the Fairmont Zimbali Resort’s executive chef, Tony Kocke, has created a scrumptious menu just for Father’s Day on June 16.

Start this special meal at one of the East Coast’s most memorable venues with a starter platter that includes a selection of samosas, a chicken kebab and spring rolls with scordia, hummus, olives and pita bread.

Because most Dads love a good family roast and we are moving into the winter season, the main course includes a father’s roast selection with a pepper-crusted sirloin of beef, rosemary-strutted let of North Natal lamb, Midlands free range chicken, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, three seasonal vegetables and a selection of accompanying sauces and mustards.

If the family still has space for a sumptuous dessert, the platter includes hazelnut-cream profiteroles, chocolate tart, cocktail crème brûlé and vanilla panna cotta.

The Fairmont Zimbali’s Father’s Day mealtime celebration is priced at R395 per person. To secure your father’s special spot, be sure contact 032 538 5000 or email dining@zimbaliresort.com
Coral Tree is located on Level 3, Fairmont Zimbali Resort.
