Electricity And Water Contact Centres Temporarily Offline

EThekwini Municipality wishes to inform residents and businesses that its electricity and water contact centres are currently experiencing technical difficulties affecting telephone services.

As a result, customers may temporarily be unable to access services through these toll-free contact numbers. Technical teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

In the interim, customers are encouraged to utilise the Municipality’s electronic platforms to report faults, log service requests, and access Municipal services.

The City apologises for the inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s patience and understanding while the matter is being resolved.

UPDATE:

EThekwini Municipality is pleased to inform residents that the City’s contact centre toll-free numbers for electricity, water, and other essential services are now fully operational.

This follows the successful resolution of technical difficulties that affected the telephone services.

Residents and businesses can once again use the toll-free numbers to contact the relevant Municipal directorates for service-related queries and assistance.

The City thanks residents and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation while the matter was being resolved.
