
Media Invite: Efforts underway to improve productivity of businesses in KwaZulu-Natal
The Department of Trade, Industry, and Competition (the dtic) and Productivity SA, the government entity tasked with enabling employment growth, invite the media to the KwaZulu-Natal Workplace Challenge Programme Milestone Workshop. This event aims to increase the efficiency of KwaZulu-Natal businesses thereby enabling economic growth and job creation.
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, will deliver the keynote address at the event to be held this 11 October 2024, at Garden Court Marine Parade, 167 OR Tambo Parade, Durban .
The session will also recognise and honour companies that have implemented Productivity SA’s Workplace Challenge Programme to apply resilience in a challenging economic environment to sustain their enterprises. One of Productivity SA’s flagship business transformation and competitiveness improvement programs, the Workplace Challenge Programme is funded by the dtic. The programme aims to increase enterprise productivity and competitiveness through improved value chain efficiencies and the establishment of model companies to disseminate processes and lessons. Members of the media are invited to attend the workshop as follows:
