Durban Property Roadshow to help Durbanites create wealth through property investment

20 May 2021 by My Durban

The SA Property Investor’s Network (SAPIN) will be hosting a property roadshow in Durban on Thursday, 20th May for anyone who is a property enthusiast, or is looking to create new income opportunities through investing in and managing property assets.

The event is being hosted at the Aha Gateway Hotel in Umhlanga from 18h30 to 21h30, and tickets cost R450.00 per person. The keynote speakers for the event are seasoned property investor and SAPIN Founder, Andrew Walker and Portfolio Manager at TUHF, Sabir Yusuf.

The SAPIN roadshow team will also listen to pitches for the upcoming Investor of the Year Awards and identify entries for the Award’s event in November, that is being sponsored by Absa, Tile Africa, Tuhf, Preferental, Bruno Simao Attorneys and The Property Academy.

“It’s been a while since we’ve been able to travel and so we are looking forward to getting face-to-face with beginner and big league’s property investors in Durban, as well as anyone who is interested to find out more. We will also be reconnecting with our existing SAPIN members in Durban and we will listen to pitches and encourage entries for The Investor of the Year Awards that are coming up in November this year,” says CEO and Founder of SA Property Investor’s Network (SAPIN), Andrew Walker.

Members of the public attending the roadshow event on Thursday evening will hear talks and presentations from different organisations and gain insights into advanced tools and tactics for property portfolio optimisation, specifically:

• Progressive investment strategies for expansion
• Overview of all the lending options available to property investors
• Property Investment Exit Strategies to mitigate your risk
• Advanced deal analysis methods to avoid costly mistakes
• Critical drivers of Property Investment Portfolio performance
• Tax efficiency that can help you protect your assets

“The reality is that as difficult as Covid-19 has been, it has also brought opportunities, particularly in opening up the doors for property investing,” explains Walker.

“Property remains an important part of a long-term investment strategy and there is currently much opportunity in the property market with low interest rates, ample property stock on offer and good deals for buyers. With a long-term view and strategy, a team of experts and industry specialists and the right network, we continue to see the opportunities for individuals to turn their situations around no matter what their economic status or background,” says Walker.

“SAPIN has been one of the most impactful networks I have been a part of. It has enabled me to find good property deals, make connections with like-minded people and learn tons from all the sponsors, speakers and fellow property investors,” says property investor, Teren Ramnundlall, who is a SAPIN member.

On Friday morning, there is an exclusive event for SAPIN members for R150,00 that will include a breakfast and networking session.

Members of the public can register for the Durban roadshow at: https://sapropertynetwork.com/roadhshows-durban/
