Durban out and about in April: Lots happening in Durbs this month, here are just a few things which are on my radar: FIRST THURSDAYS Station Drive Precinct 7th April Head down to Durban’s coolest new precinct for a stroll around the neighbourhood and catch some tunes, some wares and some chow. Don’t miss whatever is on offer at Renegade Kitchen inside The Plant at No. 5 Station Drive. Go home with something green from St. Verde Botanicals inside Con Amore – which also happens to be having a massive sale. Head around the corner to The Station and make sure to pop into the beautiful Andrew Early gallery, as well as Ndumi Iman’s Mind over Matter, which has just opened this week and The Vintager by Amanda Jaffar – there’s a soda siphon there I must have. My favourite kind of furniture can also be found there from Trestle – scandi chic at its best. Finish off with a cold one at S43 or Distillery 031 at No. 43 Station Drive. Durban rocks!
