KwaZulu-Natal’s Drakensberg mountain range is home to the highest peak in Southern Africa – rising up to 3482 metres, providing travellers with dramatic vistas that few can match.
The #TrekSouthAfrica team, who are currently leading a six-month adventure throughout South Africa, exploring the country’s leading wilderness trails and hiking paths, had the opportunity to explore the Drakensberg’s Cathedral Peak, the Drakensberg Ampitheatre and Giant’s Castle.
#TrekSouthAfrica’s lead photographer Rudolph De Girardier, took these stunning time-lapse videos of their time in KwaZulu-Natal’s Drakensberg.
