Demand for Serenity Hills increases with the launch of Phase 2

29 March 2024 by My Durban

Since its launch in the second half of 2022, the eco-focused estate Serenity Hills between Uvongo and Margate has attracted local and international investor attention, with 60% of Phase 1 already sold and buyers taking ownership good news for those looking to invest in property on the KZN South Coast is that the launch of Phase 2 in September 2024 will unlock even further residential options in this high-end estate.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the interest shown in Serenity Hills but this confirms there is demand for more efficient and modern home designs in a natural setting, where quality, convenience, and sustainability are prioritised,” explained Reece Daniel, Developer of Serenity Hills in Margate. “Particular interest was shown in our innovative Forest Pods, the first time this globally popular concept has been brought to the KZN South Coast, with only 2 stands remaining. We’re now on track to launch Phase 2 this spring, bringing more opportunity for interested buyers.”

The 6 Forest Pods, located within an exclusive cul-de-sac on the northern tip of Serenity Hills, offer full access to all amenities plus a private access road, with the building footprint adhering to the flow of the land. With distant ocean views and surrounded by coastal forest, residents enjoy the ultimate in luxury, tranquil living.

Construction of the homes in Phase 1 started this year, with buyers coming from as far as Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Germany. Residents in this completely secure estate enjoy ocean and coastal forest views, with all-inclusive facilities such as clubhouses, extensive trails through 70ha private conservation, sports amenities, and the award-winning The Packshed restaurant. Phase 2 will give investors the chance to secure upmarket ridge plots with expansive ocean views, all constructed in the Serenity Hills style of modern comfort within natural beauty.

The eco-conscious design of each of the 600 units supports community living with modern and high-quality finishes. All units are fitted with gas installation, solar-ready electrical installation to support backup power systems, and gutters for rain harvesting collection. The estate also has on-site reservoirs to supplement the water supply.

Catering to all phases of life, this pet-friendly estate will include frail care and home-assisted living with wheelchair-friendly residential options available. These are equally suited to those with limited mobility, as well as families with young children.

Buyers keen to get significant value for their investment are encouraged to check out the remaining plots available in Serenity Hills before the launch of Phase 2!
