City Bus Service Operational

26 July 2016 by Alan

The Ethekwini Municipality would like to inform residents that the Municipal bus service is fully operational and buses are back on the road today, 26/07/2016.

The bus service was interrupted when drivers embarked on strike action due to a delay in the establishment of an entity that will manage bus operations. The matter has since been resolved following an agreement that was reached between the City and their employer, Tansnat.

The City recognises and appreciates the patience and understanding shown by residents and commuters during the strike. We assure residents of our full commitment in providing a quality bus service.
