Catch the Game Live – Featured Durban Blog

31 January 2018 by Alan

Catch the Game Live:

The Cell C Sharks are delighted to announce that our warm-up match against Racing 92 will be streamed live on the Sharks Facebook Page at 10h00 (SA Time) on Saturday 3rd February, when the teams meet in the Natixis Cup Challenge at the Aberdeen Sports Ground, in Hong Kong. There have been numerous queries from fans who are eager to watch their team in action and it is fantastic that we have managed to secure this stream and in the process give our fans the opportunity to watch their team in action.

With two weeks to go before Vodacom Super Rugby kicks off, this is the final opportunity for the Cell C Sharks players to stretch themselves, and it couldn’t be against much tougher opposition than Racing 92, who currently occupy second spot in the French Top 14.

All 26 players named to go on tour will feature during the course of the match, with 11 playing off the bench. Of course, there are a number of players who remained at home and who will play big roles in the Vodacom Super Rugby competition.

The match against the Vodacom Bulls over the weekend gave some pause for thought and this final game should provide head coach Robert du Preez some lovely selection headaches.

Captain Ruan Botha has retaining the leadership role he played so well last year.
