Buy a flower and support furry friends with the 4 Paws / Scottburgh Mall fundraiser

23 August 2021 by My Durban

It’s time for fresh starts and fundraising this Spring, beginning with the 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue charity drive in partnership with Scottburgh Mall from 1 to 7 September. Visitors to the mall’s centre court during this time can buy a blossom for R20 (or more!) which will be placed on the Spring tree of love. All funds will be donated to the Scottburgh-based animal care NPO, with Scottburgh Mall committed to matching the contribution total. “We are so grateful to Scottburgh Mall for this incredibly generous contribution that will go towards our ongoing efforts to care for and feed more than 200 stray dogs around the KZN South Coast,” said Nicky Koekemoer of 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue. “With Covid-19 and the recent civil unrest impacting our fundraising efforts, this tree of love is really a tree of hope for us and the many vulnerable animals we assist. We look forward to seeing our loving community members at Scottburgh Mall!”

Visitors can buy a blossom from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 1pm Saturday and Sunday. For more information about the event, visit www.scottburghmall.com or call 039 976 1045. For more on 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue, or to find out other ways to assist this committed NPO, visit www.4pawsandatalerescue.co.za or contact Nicky on 084 626 5508 or info@4pawsandatalerescue.co.za.
