Boxer Super Run Welcomes Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa and Rexona for the 2026 Series

31 August 2026 by My Durban

The Boxer Super Run is excited to announce the return of Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) as the event’s Official Hydration Partner, while also welcoming Rexona as the Official Deodorant Sponsor for the 2026 editions in Durban (Sunday, 18 October) and Joburg (Sunday, 15 November).

Launched in 2023 through a partnership between Stillwater Sports, Boxer Superstores and CCBSA, the Boxer Super Run has quickly established itself as one of South Africa’s most anticipated 5km events. Centred around the world’s most popular running distance, the event offers something for everyone, welcoming elite athletes, social runners, walkers and first-time participants to enjoy a high-energy, inclusive race-day experience.

The continued support of CCBSA, combined with the addition of Rexona, further strengthens the Boxer Super Run’s commitment to delivering an exceptional event experience while encouraging more South Africans to embrace active lifestyles and celebrate movement together.

“We’re excited to welcome Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa back as our Official Hydration Partner while also welcoming Rexona to the Boxer Super Run family as our Official Deodorant Sponsor,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “These partnerships bring together brands that share our passion for creating memorable experiences and inspiring healthy, active lifestyles. Together, we’ll continue to deliver an exciting event that celebrates movement, community and fun, while ensuring participants are refreshed, motivated and ready to enjoy every step of the journey.”

Sharing her excitement about the partnerships, Lee-Ann Pillay, Head of Marketing at Boxer Superstores, says both brands perfectly complement the Boxer Super Run’s vision of creating an inclusive event that inspires people to get moving.

“At Boxer Superstores, we’re passionate about creating memorable experiences that bring communities together through movement,” says Pillay. “We’re proud to continue our partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa while welcoming Rexona to the Boxer Super Run family. Together, these partnerships will enhance the race-day experience and encourage even more South Africans to lace up, get moving and be part of the excitement in Durban and Joburg.”

Reinforcing Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa’s commitment to supporting active, community-driven experiences, Steven Hayes, Key Customer Director, said: “At CCBSA, we believe in creating moments that bring people together, and the Boxer Super Run is a great example of this. More than just a 5km event, it brings friends, families, and communities together to celebrate movement, enjoy a memorable day out, and welcome the spirit of spring. We are proud to continue our partnership with Boxer Superstores and Stillwater Sports, and we look forward to welcoming participants to Durban and Joburg for another exciting edition of the Boxer Super Run in 2026.”

“Partnering with the 2026 Boxer Super Run in Durban and Joburg allows us to bring Rexona into spaces where energy, passion, and movement thrive. This collaboration goes far beyond sweat protection. It’s about empowering people to move, express themselves, and push their limits with unshakeable confidence,” says Sanele Gwala, Demand Creation Lead for Rexona.
