Angry Umlazi train commuters allegedly torch train cars over late arrival: Angry train commuters allegedly set alight four cars and damaged a ticket office and motor train coach in Umlazi’s J section, south of Durban, provincial police have said.

Government failures and greed – Moerane Commission report’s damning findings: Nearly two years after KwaZulu-Natal Premier Willies Mchunu established the Moerane Commission to investigate political killings, the finalised report pointed to several government failures, provincial politics and ultimately, material greed.

Man and woman arrested for opening false cases in KZN: Tongaat detectives were able to link these cases and both the man and woman were arrested and charged for defeating the ends of justice.
