The High Court in Durban has dismissed an urgent application to stop this weekend’s ANC eThekwini regional conference. The provincial leadership – Chairperson Sihle Zikalala, Secretary Super Zuma and Treasurer Nomusa Dube-Ncube -emerged from court all smiles, saying that the conference will go ahead as planned. Disgruntled ANC members from several branches within the eThekwini region want the Provincial Executive Committee to answer to allegations of irregularities at last month’s provincial elective conference.
