ANA Examinations a Mess

The Inkatha Freedom Party in KwaZulu-Natal reports that it has been alerted to some dismal experiences in the ANA exams in the Province.

“It is reported that in the Pinetown District, some schools did not write at all, whilst others received insufficient numbers of question papers and answer sheets,” The Hon Mntomuhle Khawula, IFP Shadow MEC for Education said.

“This is a reflection of the poor management of education in the Province which the IFP has always complained about.  The obvious consequence of this is that ANA’s credibility has been greatly compromised.  Whatever outcome that this Province will be given by ANA cannot be trusted.  One wonders how much damage can also be accounted for in the rest of the Province in the writing of ANA exams last week,” Mr Khawula said.

“The IFP is going to demand answers from the Department of Education in respect of how ANA exams were run in the Province,” Mr Khawula concluded.
