South Africa’s leading toy and baby products retailer is set to open doors to its newly refurbished Pavilion store with a weekend of fun and entertainment for the whole family.

Families are invited to join in the fun from 5 to 8 May as the store becomes a hive of activity with live entertainment, exciting giveaways, opening specials, character appearances and games.
A live broadcast by Durban radio station, East Coast Radio on Saturday, May, 6 will add to the excitement as popular DJs are set to delight shoppers with music and in-store give-aways.

Lucky shoppers stand a chance to walk away with exciting prizes including Nerf guns and Lego Friends packs.

“Toys R Us is thrilled to open our new look store and we want our valued customers to share in the excitement. The weekend offers something for the whole family especially our young customers,” says Nicole Annells, Marketing Manager, Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa.

Iconic characters including Paw Patrol’s Chase & Skye, Shopkins, The Sylvanian Families and Toys R Us much-loved mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe will make special in-store appearances, treating their fans to dance and games.

Children will have the opportunity to capture the moment with their favourite toy characters and even receive their autographs.

Youngsters can also enjoy the store’s play areas and toy demonstrations by popular brands.

The refurbishment breathed new energy into the playful store design for which the brand is renowned while offering customers convenience through prominent signage and ease of accessibility.
