Truck crashes into storm water drain killing two, injuring three: Two men were killed and three others injured when a truck they were travelling in crashed into a storm water drain in Umkomaas, KwaZulu-Natal.

Amandawe protesters throw rocks, burn tyres and set sugarcane plantation alight: Forty-three people have been arrested on charges of malicious damage to property and will appear in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court.
