Rugby will make its much-anticipated debut at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday 16 June when former Cell C Sharks favourite Fred Michalak will lead out a star-studded French Barbarians side against the SA ‘A’ team in Durban on Youth Day. This match will kick-off at 16h45. EThekwini hosts dialogue to unpack the Blue Economy

A dialogue on the Oceans Economy is being hosted by the eThekwini Municipality on Thursday, 03 September 2015 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. ICC considers managing iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium

Durban - The iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium could soon be managed by the same team that runs the award-winning Durban Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre. This is according to a proposal tabled during an eThekwini council executive committee meeting in Durban on Tuesday. A decision was not taken by exco though, as the matter was deferred.
