Statement from the KwaZulu-Natal Rugby Union: This past weekend a U/18 rugby development high performance camp was held in Durban in preparation for a schools tournament commencing in Gauteng this Friday. Development players from across the five KZN sub-unions were present at this camp, which concluded at midday on Sunday. On the way back home players from the Northern Natal sub-union convinced their driver to stop at the beach before going home. One of the players did not report back to the awaiting transportation.
