Aimed at satisfying the palates of diners who wish to enjoy a tasting menu at fine dining restaurants, Dine4Six is designed for those who are dining solo – very clever! Tasting menus the world over are usually intended for two or more diners, so DINE4SIX has been specifically designed with the cultured solo-traveler in mind. This website and app enables users to book a seat at a table of six, to experience a gastronomic journey at a fine dining restaurant, with a unique menu designed exclusively for the table. I was invited to the first Durban event last Friday at 9th Avenue Bistro, the 2017 South African Condé Nast Gourmet Magazine’s ‘Favourite Restaurant as voted for by the public’, and we enjoyed the most amazing meal, accompanied by delicious wine and wonderful company – honesty we had the most brilliant evening!
