Bark in the Park Festival:

This Sunday, December 15th, Serendipitty Rescue (Pitbull) will be hosting Bark in the Park Festival at Westville Athletics Club from 10am – 5pm.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness and funds for Serendipitty who assist with adoptions and care for unwanted Pitbull’s. All dogs welcome on condition they are on a harness and are socialised.

Featuring the local sounds of Achemy, RadioRush, Cactus Club, Candice, Setting Sons and TYPE-7, supporting great local talent which be performing at the event.

In no time, you will be singing alone whilst relaxing on the picturesque lawns, refreshments in hand from one of the many bars.

There will be Craft beer, Gin bar and Rum on offer by The RailRoad Brewing Co., Lemon, Caffe Primo, LèShandisi, Eats of the Earth (vegetarian), Fat Cat Gourmet Truck, The Bite Co. (Halaal), Natural Vibes, Sparrows Rusks and Candy pop entertainment, and more which will be your fuel to revel in the day.

There will also be a number of stalls which include the likes of Kanine Crunchies, Thilda’s Cat Cave Toys, Wolf Printing, Raeesas handmade jewellery, Blackowl photography, microchipping by Creature Care, Mistys Haven as well as renowned and respected dog trainer Andy Ording,

Some fun entertainment will also take place on the day so get your game on by participating in the Sevensevensports Bagjump sponsored by Need A Tool, obstacle course and Shanice Messy Play. Loads of fun for the adults and kids alike.

Tickets cost just R50 for adults and children under 12 years just R25. Cost of the bag jump is R40 or R60 for two jumps. Tickets are available at the entrance to the club.

Don’t forget, with so much on offer, own food and drink will not be permitted at the venue. Alcohol will not be sold to persons under the age of 18.

Don’t forget to bring your picnic blanket and make a day of it with your four legged and two legged family and friends for a fun family day out in celebration of this amazing breed of dog at the Westville Athletics Club.
